Sustainable Westchester, the Westchester County Office of Economic Development and New Yorkers for Clean Power are still looking for organizations, employers and training providers to participate in the tabling portion of the Fall 2024 Westchester County Clean Energy Jobs & Resource Fair! The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has released a new web-based tool that offers installers, sales associates, homeowners, and others comprehensive information about electric heat pump water heaters (HPWHs).The HPWH Installation Tool is a “one-stop shop” for potential HPWH purchasers and installers to get guidance quickly and easily for selecting and installing units in existing homes. In addition to customized recommendations, the tool delivers general information about HPWHs, how they operate, their benefits for both homeowners and installers, and available tax incentives through the Inflation Reduction Act.Click here for more information: https://lnkd.in/gKYMPNjX

A huge thank you to our amazing summer interns Timmy Daramola, Darion Gomez, Norah Mosquea and Ashley Stagnari for all of their hard work over the last few months to further Sustainable Westchester’s mission of bringing innovative climate solutions to municipalities, businesses and residents throughout the County.
