Eric Arnold has joined our team as Vice President of IT for D&H United. Eric is operationally oriented and will lead our group of IT professionals and managed services providers enterprise-wide. He brings over 25 years of experience and has built IT functions from the ground up in his prior roles. He was most recently in IT leadership roles with Venture Metals International and PhysAssist Scribes.Eric will be working with the existing team to reorganize the current IT function, focusing on Infrastructure/Security, Support, and the TANCS platform for our Compliance business. The Mercury ERP project will continue to report separately into the leadership steering committee.Welcome to the team, Eric!

It’s Tank Trouble Tuesday!A fueling facility in Tanknology’s Gulf Coast region requested a TankCam inspection of a 10,000 gallon steel tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held midgrade unleaded. The customer also requested a TankClean Remote Video UST Cleaning.The TankCam inspection revealed sludge buildup on the bottom and sides of the tank. After the TankClean Remote Video UST Cleaning, the TankCam shows that the sludge had been removed and the tank was clean. The tank was later placed back into service.TankCam® video inspection services from Tanknology help you detect UST problems with no need for excavation or manned entry. Jones has more than 20 years of experience in private equity, investment banking and corporate finance and previously served as the Executive Vice President of Corporate Development & Mergers and Acquisitions at Transportation Insight. Before joining Transportation Insight Jones had a successful career in investment banking, advising on more than $15 billion of mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions at BlackArch Partners and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He also worked in corporate finance for IBM Global Services. Jones holds an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he graduated with highest distinction.Jones lives in Charlotte and when he’s not working he enjoys running, biking, fishing and spending time with his two daughters.
